Filming begins Fall 2023

HERE, BULLET is a musical short film, a 5-minute surreal snapshot of a man confronting the bullet, the very death-harbinger that will enter his body and end his entire existence. Written by Tony Nominated, award-winning director and actor Will Chase, and prize-winning composer Kurt Erickson, HERE, BULLET puts us in the center of a situation we all fear, and oddly, all share: “death by gun”. Based on Erickson’s critically acclaimed, award-winning song cycle of the same name, taken from the original poem by renowned poet, author, and Iraqi War veteran Brian Turner, HERE, BULLET the film takes this radically innovative poetry, and sets a scene of raw, visceral power, forcing its Hero to call out in a musical barrage of defiance, horror, and ultimate resignation.

After much anticipation, the pre-vocal instrumental soundtrack for HERE, BULLET has been recorded by renowned string quintet Sybarite5 and award-winning pianist Tania Stavreva. (Video below)
